Job Title: Commercial Manager, Eastern US

Would you be able to grow and develop the reach of the MSC program in the US? Do you have extensive knowledge of the seafood industry?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic commercial partner manager to expand the MSC’s commercial engagement in the US, promoting and enhancing the organization’s profile and partner engagement.

The goal of the MSC’s commercial program is to raise awareness of seafood sustainability issues in the US market through building support and demand for seafood and seafood products from MSC certified fisheries in the supply chain, including retail and food service.

Who are you?
• Have a relevant postgraduate degree, diploma or equivalent;
• Have extensive knowledge about the seafood industry;
• Be a great communicator, with excellent management skills.

The MSC’s vision is for the world’s oceans to be teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for this and future generations. Through our world-leading certification and ecolabeling programme we recognise and reward sustainable fisheries and through the leadership of our partners, create market incentives to encourage other fisheries to improve the way they operate. Over 300 fisheries around the world, representing 12 % of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC programme. MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.

The role is based in our Washington DC office.
